iam having a bit of a home brew gathering at the week end mike,strickly no lentols though,fecking hippys,and ive hid all the cash,

I was the President of the World Wildlife Fund. But when I was off duty I couldn't wait to shoot and hunt anything that moved. I'm like that ... bet you are too.

Phil the Greek sounds like a wrestler.

Open Golf and Test Cricket all day, it's mundane choosing which one to watch. Piss poor timing by the relevant wossisnames.

Also it's going to be very hot and sunny, well relatively, on Sunday so we're off out for the dau meaning I miss the climax of the Open. Why can't it just rain for one more day.

£30 or £40! I'd want to be selected for England for that money. £40 to slide across a rope!

Watching a documentary about the history of the toilet, it's sh, surprisingly interesting in a mundane way.

Turned 40 today, not sure how that happened.

Took #1 son on a boat trip along the Tamar this afternoon - one of those up-to-the-Bridge-and-back-again jobs, Drakes Island, the Dockyard etc.

One of the things that it's easy to overlook when you live in Plymouth, but fun to do, and #1 son was beside himself with excitement, particularly when he spotted a fin in the water. I told him it was a Dolphin, not a Great White Shark, which disappointed him hugely.

He'd better not tell the four year old about that, Andy - when I take her on a boat trip it means the Torpoint Ferry.

There and back, of course.

Now the sun's out, the ferries up to Calstock have been non-stop (sort of).

....and the canoes, he said as 11 of them sail past my window!
