Not quite. If it does happen - either before or after he leaves office - Trump will be banned from ever holding office again, (meaning the Republicans can ditch him at no cost) and he will lose his Presidential pension. I believe he also loses his lifetime secret service protection.

Well he has been impeached but I thought that opened him up to go on trial in front of a senate? court and if he is found guilty at the trial he will lose all those benefits? Didn't he get impeached before but got off on the trial?
Trouble is that if he is barred from running again there will be a sizeable army of pro Trump nut jobs thinking that the establishment are stopping him from getting elected in another landslide when the truth is he has blown any chance of re election clear out of the water himself.

He has a job on his hands to try and get the USofA back to where it was before Trump took power.

His large supporter base would fund a new party he creates , to them he is their messiah. If he does start up this Patriot Party , he will need to act on it fairly soon, there are elections in two years time and Trump would see that as a good starting point.
