When you buy a piece of standing wood or coppice by the acre you are allowed to cut wood from 24th of Setember known by a lot of woodsmen as ladies day. No one has ever been able to tell me why. It's ladies day. You'll do as you're fooking told. |

| It's worth buying decent Gin for sloe gin. The cheap amorry stuff is the cast offs from the better distillers full of headache material. |

| Well, that wasn't the best of nights to camp up at Whitsands in a gale force downpour. Left the roof vent open by mistake....oops. Rather aptly, downloaded Nuts in May with Alison Steadman. It was still rather amusing |

| Had a hair cut today.
Number 1 all over.
The barber was surprised to find me naked in the chair!
(Ok I made the last bit up.)
She wasn't surprised!

| I've just bought some new chickens, for eggs not stock. The old chickens are frightened of them. |

| Put some curtain rails up today. fecked up 3 drill bits doing so! I complained about my Daughter helping me a while back but I would rather have her help me than my son. He has no practical skills what so ever. A senior manager in the making there no doubt. _______________________________________ I'm one of the common people so says the wife! | Gonna be an absolute hoolie. I've been caught with my trousers down, my own fault. Feel a bit like Alan Bates tying down his silage in Far from the Madding Crowd. |
