Well the answer was in his own hands (no, not that) He could have moved his family down here as Schuey did.

He never had any intention of staying long term, as confirmed by his going to a Club that in most ways is no bigger than Argyle.

Good managers have left Home Park before to go to bigger Clubs -Man City, Southampton even Leicester City who had a bit of top flight history. But PNE? You're having a laugh!

Lockdown would have made it illegal for him to see them?

Should have joined the Wanderers then (not Bolton) They won the Cup  half a dozen times before PNE won anything

Frankly he doesn't deserve our time so lets just draw a line under the whole RL "thing" and move on.

But as Kevin Keegan once said "I would love it" if we do the double over a certain team next season.

reluctantly sacked Mouldy dont forget brent and friends where big fans of his despite how shit and stubborn as a mule he was as a manager.

Its makes me happy that Schumacher isnt as arrogant to accept experienced help in his rookie stage of his new career path as Fletcher was.

Was Fletcher caught playing away from home I know someone was thought it was him? Tbf to him I have never blamed him for being shit I have always blamed Brent for going for the cheap option that was always going to be doomed to failure.

Didn't Fletcher leave Palace because of a "situation" involving his wife and Pardew the Palace manager?

And wasn't Cantona sold by Leeds because of an affair with another player's wife?

John Terry had a well publicised affair with Bridges' partner at Chelsea.

Odd how players complain about having to play too many games but always seem to have  enough energy to play "away"

At least Peter Crouch was honest enough when asked what he would be if he wasn't a footballer "A virgin"

When managers leave clubs it always seems to be worse than when players leave, for some reason.

Lowe did well in his time here, he brought an exciting brand of football, signed some decent players, and left the club in a far better situation than when he arrived. His leaving may not have been for purely footballing reasons, but it is what it is.

Some of his comments since haven't been sensible, particularly the nonsense about the club having no identity. If any club in the whole football league has it's own identity, it's Argyle. Only club to play in green, the name, the location.

Anyway, his time here is over, I thought he did well for us and wish him all the best. More than happy Schuey has taken over, and already the team seems to be that bit more solid. Top 6 here we come.

I think I have it wrong actually Reg but there was a player around his time who left because he missus was being shagged by another player, can't think who.

you based that on 6 games!! ive seen far worse after him and before. He at least went on to have a successful career elsewhere including in the premiership for several seasons till recently. Sturrock fecked it up badly back then not getting in the 21st century and learning for his dismissal from southampton that his methods are out of date and dont work in higher leagues.
