Calls for the government to look again at the hospitality [10pm] curfew. There are shouts for it all to be closed, or supermarkets and other smaller outlets to either stop selling at alcohol 9pm or close at 9pm. Some would like to see the hospitality sector return to its pre-covid state.

According to many, the laws are not working due to the fact that thousands of people [nationwide] are mingling in the street, packing out supermarkets and the smaller outlets for alcohol and packing out public transport. And all then heading to house parties.

Is it that I'm just smarter than anybody else or they all thick as shite? The main confusion is only between England, Wales and Scotland (which should have all the same rules buts its about independance not Covid as all your posts are about Brexit not Covid)) so unless you live on the Welsh English borders and regularly commute to Scotland I don't see what the fuss is?

Once the pub is shut you have to go home or mix with people only from your household bubble, none of the rules say its ok for hundreds of people to cram into a small area not even wearing masks and no social distancing whatsoever.
The virus is not getting spread by confused people it's getting spread by people that don't care if they catch or spread the virus, not wearing masks and not giving a fook for social distancing.

Research conducted by Imperial College London using the results from England’s largest community coronavirus testing programme suggests that the rate of infection has decreased in the country.

The lead author of the study, Professor Paul Elliott, said that the research shows “some early evidence that the growth of new cases may have slowed, suggesting efforts to control the infection are working.

To be honest, thought Harve would be all over this story, anyway, way to go Hancock and Johnson, way to go.

Interesting news, heard it on LBC earlier. If in three to four weeks time Imperial College London conduct another count and the virus is still decreasing, then fair shout.

You can't keep blaming Cummings, Harve. Yes, he, and many many other prominent figures have broken Covid rules. The excuse of 'if Cummings & co broke the rules - so can I' is a cop out. Any normal cognitive individual knows the difference between right and wrong.
