Yes and no Mouldy. The idea originally was the bar would be returned to the club after 5 years after investors had been paid off (not that theres a chance in hell of that happening)
Maybe Hallett was looking at the long game who knows

Watching the weekly progress photos I would suggest they have been slowed by the technicalities of working around the initial structure.

The increase in project costs will most likely have come from unknown issues with existing steels. It was a design and build contract so the price should only have moved for such unknown reasons.

Still don't see what they are going to do with the old players lounge and boardroom that wouldn't have been done twice as quick by levelling.

Hope they have some clever ideas for suspended ceilings in the new conference area as the headroom looks pretty poor.

Cladding doesn't look great tbh, colours don't even match, not sure if it's to be left as is or painted.

Bit disturbing though that bricks are breaking away already. Remember this was supposed to be open in 3 weeks. Notwithstanding that Argyle claimed a commencement date of August 2018 (when shyster was photographed signing contracts) but as we know it was actually February 2018

As such it could be argued we're already six months behind but lets be generous and say 3 weeks to go. As for that Supporters bar now 12 months behind. Think of all that interest accumulating plus they are also one year down in actually paying back the capital. Considering thats now risen to £1.4 million you're looking at around £350,000 offside to make up before they've even opened.

I thought they were going cut the cladding to size yesterday, but they moved away from that area carrying some sort of cutting tool, scaffolding has been put up at the Barn Park end for the works to put up the cladding there. it is coming on
