If Brent really did care about Argyle like the superfans claim then he'd postpone this ridiculous development and plow desperately needed funds into strengthening the squad.

Half a million would be more than enough to build a decent squad in this league.

But no, Brent only gives a toss about his pocket money.

As a banker he was part of a group that screwed the country over, and now as owner of Argyle he's screwing us over.

That's what I read in the press. I thought it was common knowledge that the development up Central Park was 50 mil. And pavilions was 85 mil

His plan has been obvious from day 1,keep the squad ticking along by the barest means possible, doing just enough and nothing more to keep the team functioning as a league unit, if this means relegation scraps year after year after year then so be it.
Once the "Development" is complete he will disappear into the sunset leaving the club a debt riddled basket-case.

It seems to me there is or at least was, more money available as evidenced by the arrival of our 6th (sixth) CB this week.

Sheridan must surely be wanting a striker with an actual pedigree of scoring some goals but clearly no money is available for such a signing. Why not?

Brent knows diddly squat about football but he sure knows goals win matches. Brent doesn't want promotion anytime soon, not least until his developments are complete. Promotion too soon and his mini-stand can't be justified. The Brent supporters now have the team they deserve, the rest of us had better find something else to do on a Saturday, or start protesting (probably too late now).

PAFC were one on the six best supported clubs in the bottom two leagues last year.

55% of that gate money (ie the fans money) should give Sheridan one of the best budgets in the Division.

This won't be a popular viewpoint tonight, but looking at it from a detached point of view, is it that bad?

Rovers and Northampton have a team full of established league two players, just like us. Also a subs bench of mainly kids- just like us. Rochdale aren't much better.

This isn't apolgising for the club. Something very obviously is wrong to the core. But what is it? No other league two sides have a much bigger/better in terms of depth and pedigree signings playing squad than us. So why are we so much worse? Is the losers mentality really that deeply engrained?

Something just stinks. It's not right and I can't see that it's gonna go away any time soon. Bad times.
