No more than we deserve should have been three or four fair play to Denmark who gave us a proper game but they faded at the end, Pickford was far from his best and nearly cost us a couple of times but we must really be buzzing now. When their goal went in I thought "earwegoagain" it's been ingrained in us, I was three when we won the WC and don't remember it so it's been a long time coming so many shit decisions, good goals disallowed and now we get through with a fifty fifty pen, who the fook cares? Bring on Italy absolutely made up with a final coming up had to wipe a tear from my eye at the final whistle. Geddon.

Yet you take the offered bait time after time as does the Mouldy character.....have you noticed a pattern per chance  popcorn

England deserved to win overall, Occasionally penalty decisions go for you
Kane probably wont take a worse penalty in his lifetime again. Even his run up was different to normal but got the break on the rebound and history will only record the win

Thought Walker and Maguire stand out players

Italy can be beaten but going to be tough. Defence will have to be at its best

What an utter joy it was to watch the Italy vs Spain game after viewing England's often used gameplan of, "pass to the right, pass back to the left, back to the 'keeper, punt it up the field". I'm mighty pleased we are in the final but fully agree that it was a blatant dive. Full marks to little Denmark for putting on such a spirited display. As for the final: I think Italy will be far to clinical for us and will win by at least 2 clear goals.

Needless to say that I hope I'm hopelessly wrong and will willingly except all the jeering remarks that could head head my way.

I think the Italy game will be a re run of last night, Chiesa is quality but I don't think they have enough firepower in depth. One game away from eternal glory.

If they are losing the Italians will revert to the dark arts as usual.

They're past masters of the black arts. I recall being told that one trick was helping a grounded player to their feet using both hands. However, while one hand grasped the grounded player's hand the other pinched the inside of his wrist which caused the grounded player quickly snatched his hand away thus making him look nasty and ungrateful ... meanwhile the Italian player gestured to the crowd that he was only trying to help.

The Italian media already starting the mind games by suggesting England are a boring side and cheated to get to the final.

Bloody cheek !! , I watched the Italy v Spain game, and as a classy side Italy look, they had a habit of falling down in the hope of getting something from the referee.

The laser light incident and the booing has put a dampener on the effort that England put in last night. Some posters on the UK media comments sections are saying England should be withdrawn from the final asap.

The booing was out of order as well, very poor behaviour. Italy are only in the final because Spain spooned about five shots over their bar, they easily could have betean them. As for the laser it was on side of Smeichaels head and he saved the piss poor penalty anyway. Getting their excuses in early before their drubbing by us on Sunday.

It’s called keeping possession, let’s not forget Sterling’s tricky dribbles or Kyle Walkers defending and then driving full pelt down the wing, the passing vision of Kane, Maguire carrying the ball out of defence, the earlier very clear cut foul on Kane in the penalty area but no penalty awarded, the questionable foul that led to Denmark’s goal, no let’s just look at the English negatives it’s better that way.
Sterling dive ? he didn’t do anything different than probably all pro players are doing, he cuts in front of a player, gets a nudge and goes down, penalty.

No the only downside from last night was the despicable booing of the Danish NA and some ignorant numbskull shining a laser at the danish gk.

Unbeaten in 33 games surely if we win it, this will be an absolute killer victory

I'd imagine the combined audience from BBC and ITV will be record for a sporting event in the UK

Google is showing the 1966 final as the biggest at 32.2 million (Denmark game was 27.6 million)

The Italian fans I've seen interviewed haven't been as confident as Freathy and the Scottish fans are with several climbing they are the underdogs.

The jocks always remind me of Exeter Shitty, shitty beat us and that makes their season, the fact they are still L2 and likely to be so for a long time doesn’t resonate with them, as for the jocks after their 0-0 “win” against us they we’re having multiple orgasms but couldn’t qualify from the first round

Yes you do. Passing back to the keeper to pick up and some of the tackles!

Some things haven’t changed like the Germans play acting.

One of the big differences is the amount of space that the teams allowed each other-no pressing the ball, content to let the opposition play and defend from there. Wembley pitch was cutting up quite badly too, which i didn't remember.
