Wine gums are 50p in my local sweet shop. I don't like wine gums.

I'm seriously considering showing my kids grandparents this thread just to shame them in to doing more for their grandchildren. TGWU puts them to shame.

Home in a minute for 2nd helpings of last nights stew. Proper.

Top mundanage, people. It's such a relief to be able to go offline for a while without worrying about the state the place will be in when I get back.

However, I am a bit worried about Chingers' (got the apostrophe right this time, note) diet. Eating that amount of food at such a late hour is ever so bad for you.

Burger and pasta used to be the six year old's favourite dinner when she was three.

I'm glad I went to school in the 70's/80's. Back then, letters sent home saying when Parents Evening was were easily intercepted. Mums forged signature on detention slips that I had off to a fine art. You could get away with murder back then.

These days, half the emails phone calls or texts I get are from one school or another informing of every minute aspect of both daughters schooling. I'm virtually spammed with information that I probably ought to be a little more 'hands on' with.

Then again, that's what mums are for.

Yeah the pasta was a drunken idea born out of greediness (and drunkenness)

So I should have an apostrophe after my name? Darn it.

Nice mug of tea in Scoffs in Chingford this morning. I had to leave so Ali put it into a take away cup for me. This was around 9.16am. Then I walked home (0.8 mile).

I've just got back from there. You should have let me know, I could have taken it over and saved you the postage.

I'm sitting in my office. Bored and a bit depressed.

Happy To Help
