On less mundane matters it's an early spring day out there today. The snow-drops are filling woods & fields around here and the daffodils are about to bloom. Tis a joy. I might even go for a gentle stroll.

There was a chimney fire in a cottage down the road from me today.

Rough as fook here, I've got a cold as well, luckily it's not full blown man flu just sort of TB crossed with a really really heavy viral infection on a par with bad child birth I would say.

Cleared the outlet pump filter on washing machine last night after being informed it was broken.

A very shiny 2p and a hairclip complete with matt of hair was stopping it draining.

I had lunch (a rather good pint of Cornish Gold & a bowl of chips) in The Tamar yesterday. Apart from the man who sorts the wood-burner, I was the only person in there. I've never seen it so empty.
