And even when I'm not here, sufferedsince96 is thinking of me. I find that really touching.

Mind you, I had to look up 'friend' in a dictionary - as I don't have any, I had to check what it meant.

Is there not a difference between a "troll" and someone who is "sent" to deliberately antagonise a website? Mods have confirmed that they are certain that NP isn't the latter. It still does not disqualify him from being an arsehole but surely his posts will tell.

What is your opinion?

I think all the mods have done is say that we are as sure as we can be who he is and that he deserves a chance like everyone else until he is proven to be a troll.

That's all I ask. I feel a bit like Mo Johnstone when he pulled on THAT shirt for the first time.

I don't know Knecht and indeed frankly unless he breaks any rules don't care. Reading from afar I have an opinion of the posters that I tend to agree and disagree with. What the Mods have done in my opinion is the right move. All I was saying is that there is a difference between an antagonistic missile from an enemy state and a general internet agitator. Quite rightly though NP maybe a normal bloke/girl who wants to join in the general Argyle wake... pale

.......probably makes then even sadder santa

How many players can be picked out? John Hore,Keith Allen,Colin Sullivan Dave Burnside and Derek Rickard [i think]at first sight.Whose the guy in middle of the front row-Don Hutchins?

I wish I knew. I've heard war stories with regards to Hore, Sullivan and Rickard from my grandparents. I was born in 1970 and I believe that this is the team photo from that year.

Looking closer,i think the one next to Keith Allen [on his right] may be Fred Molyneux.

Which one's Keith Allen? And I take back Burnside.

Yep! Thanks, Pokedown.

On Foster's left it may be Molyneux and on his right is certainly Burnside.

I still can't make out the second from the left standing, the bloke sitting on the left or the bloke in the middle sitting (it can't be Don Hutchings, can it?)

I'd have all of them back in a shot. They were so good we played without a keeper in those days. Very Happy

Keith is the blonde haired bloke in the middle of the back row-used to play cricket for Plymstock as well.

Just looked up my bumper book of Argyle facts and Don joined us in 1969,think it must be him.Not a bad winger actually,he'd certainly get in the current team, although maybe that's not such a great compliment.

I've just looked it up too.

You're right, it is Keith Allen - my guess of George Foster was some years out!

It is Don Hutchins.

And, if you get the 2nd on left standing and first on left sitting - I'll take off all my clothes, paint myself red & white & sing the national anthem.

But why was there no keeper in the shot?

You mean to take my picture when I take off all my clothes, paint myself red & white & sing the national anthem or do you mean the team photo?
