Bristol City midfielder Korey Smith has announced that he's leaving Bristol City.

The last member of Steve Cotterill's double-winning squad announced via social media that he has not been offered a new deal and will instead be leaving Ashton Gate this summer.

the reason i said his name was a few kids claimed to have seen him at home park which is bs in anycase... might be a bit out of our price range i feel regardless.

Tyreeq Bakinson is not named in any of the Bristol City team squads on their official web site.

Looks like Palmer is off to Lincoln.

Palmer can't be on mental wages at Lincoln.

shame as he should be coming back here over signing a 37 year old hasbeen.

As I've said before I do get why we signed Luke but given a choice it would be Palmer foreshore.

be that as it may given the way the world is 3 keepers would be needed regardless as i dont doubt at all that we will see players testing positive for corona at different points of the season till the virus as truly gone away and quarantining periods are ended.

A twitter rumour site @efl_hub has linked us (and a few others) with the loan signing of WBA's Callum Morton. He's the Torquay lad that scored one of Northampton's goals in the recent playoff final against City.

Northampton Town, Fleetwood Town & Salford City have made offers to sign West Brom striker Callum Morton, on loan.

Palmer is a quality keeper he should be signed, but it looks like we are back to jobcentre jokers,reminds me of the good old days with Jimmy.

Unfortunately re signing McCormick can only be seen as a backward step, having Palmer back would be great, I think he was the best keeper at Argo for some time, but he was 1st choice, and helped get automatic promotion, and would probably prefer a fresh challenge. That's football.

He could have that fresh challenge here as we are in a higher league and he will be tested more so in this one especially with our defence at present.
As for McCormick ive said it several times elsewhere that if he was signed with the notion of him doing gk coaching in the youth setup and being a third choice keeper to Cooper and preferably Palmer i could see the logic in that.

We have to hope Copper can cope with expectations of being first choice with no real competition or cover to aide him.

Sunderland. Very keen on Remi Matthews. Ex Bolton. Ipswich would take him too.
