Thought there should be a thread for this sort of thing.

First one - Danny Hylton of Luton on his way to Home Park for next season (from a fairly reliable source). Out of contract and good mates with Ryan Taylor apparently.

Apparently, according to Mavis at the Hoe tea rooms, who's hubby is a cab driver with a daughter married to Idi Amin, who now lives in Falkirk and has two glass eyes and a wooden leg - Work should start on refurbishing the not-so-grandstand next year.

Breaking news eh!

Seriously?

I'd be pleasantly flabbergasted. Would go a huge way towards tempering Carey's pretty inevitable departure.

Makail-Smith released from Luton. DA does seem to get the best from players.

Ryan Edwards Morecambe 23years old Height: 1.7 m Defender

Quotes from Morecambe fans

Rumours on Facebook of Edwards going to Plymouth or Kilmarnock

Was told Plymouth are after him, most likely destination.

If he's off then hope it's Plymouth as we could get a compensation fee for him. wouldn't apply if it's Killy.

Much improved this season especially towards the back end of the season with his distribution which before was irratic to say the least.

Ash Taylor, 26 year old CB, has left Aberdeen. I'm sure I saw us linked with him last season.

BBC Link

Noone is also available from Cardiff, but I very much doubt we could afford him-

Just lifted this from the farm about Ash Taylor
''I note he has a very attractive wife, who is a fitness instructor and ........ ''

Just hope CB's around the country don't talk to each other on a sort of ''CB's Twit feed'' because if they do that's him sunk without trace'' Evil or Very Mad

Is DA finding it difficult to find League 1 to championship standard players to come down here for next season?

Wee paragraph in the Indy on Sunday saying that Argyle were in competition with Northampton to sign Billy Waters of Cheltenham, young striker with a decent scoring record in a struggling side last season.

GILLINGHAM have emerged as rivals for Northampton Town in the chase for Cheltenham Town forward Billy Waters.

Waters, 22, hit 16 goals in all competitions last season, having helped them gain promotion from the National League the previous season.

In total, Waters has 23 league goals in 59 starts, with 24 substitute appearances, and has added four goals in 10 cup ties.

With Northampton boss Justin Edinburgh keen to build a squad capable of challenging for a place in the Championship next season, Waters has become a target for the Cobblers, but now former Forest Green boss Ady Pennock’s Gillingham appear to have joined the race.

Robins' boss Gary Johnson seems resigned to seeing Waters leave, and said last week: “Billy seemed happy with the offer we made, but he has an agent who needs to move him on to make money,” Johnson said.

“I think he needed to stay here for another year, but Billy and his agent have now gone quiet.

“It’s a bit sad, but I am still hoping he might look at it and feel we are the best situation for him because he has improved here, but someone else may now gain from that.
