Rumours

When someone hears a rumour and the person at the centre of the said rumour plays it down as nothing , why would the said person then get all jittery behind the scenes, so much so that a gagging order gets placed on the subject.

If it was a " nothing" incident like has been said.  What's the problem ?

Look anybody else posts anything inflammatory about this subject then they will be suspended immediately, I have explained why, please help out.
