Mankover Planning application submitted

I still believe Brent's targeted holy grail for HHP, especially near the Barn park end, is expensive park side apartments. One only has to look at his tactics with Oldway Manor to see what he's really in the game for and where the biggest profit lies. The only thing that's been built/renovated there are apartments in the grounds. Nice little earner, while the promised house renovation disappeared into thin air. But at least it's back in public hands.

Brent's recent comments re the ice rink and HIS money ( Pavillion proceeds ) building it would suggest to me there's a sting in the tail somewhere and the council won't be getting what they think they'll be getting. Not to be trusted with doing the washing up.

There shouldn’t have ever been any doubt about the mankover. Brent isn’t paying, so hey, that WILL get done. It was only his wanky hybrid planning application that dragged things out.

hallet probably will be the main benefactor im guessing. brent might chip in a few quid just so he can claim he helped.

Its shocking that no one at the council questioned why in this current economy why 6 resturants will be built when the likelihood id they will be empty a few years after they open. Who is going to stay at a hotel over looking a busy road thats going to be even worse now, swilly and barren land or dog shit park as some call it. Who in the feck needs office space for 200 people when all the companies will have there own office space. why claim its international size ice rink when its not (unless he has or the governing body has changed it since the plans where released)

thats before you even start on the stand thats the bare minimum brent could get away with to avoid suspicion to his true plans. He is even on record saying he doesnt see the need for a decent size stand or build in the corners at a later date..

its no wonder that exeter is leaving plymouth in the dark ages when we have a council ho would rather orally felate a chancer that they have given so much to and got nothing back than they would by doing whats right for Plymouth in the long term. Destroying central park, crippling argyle's development and growth in a land lock stadium and causing crazy daily traffic jams all to benefit one man and his family is not it.

Day one - planning permision granted and £4.5M burning a hole in our accounts.

Rumour going around that Trump has been approached by PCC about whether he would like to building a golf course over Central Park surrounded
by luxury development.
PCC is looking into the fesability of a high wall around the Park.

Yes I agree Angry....that's why I refuse to stay at the Strand in London....just not good enough, with that very busy road out side.....

It's no good blaming PCC their hands are tied they would be sued if they refused it. I blame the Brent fans more for not fighting for their club more.
