Probably not especially if you ignore the fact that most of the economy has been shut down and at least hampered for the last eighteen months and Sunak has spent £6bn on the furlough scheme.

In true Tory style they are raising the NI levies which run at 12% up to £50k then above that are only 2% so yet again the high earners will pay less percentage than their lower paid colleagues.
