European Super League Set To Be Announced

The greedy 6 and their counterparts in Europe have no intention of continuing in any domestic or existing European competitions. The greedy 6 fully expect to be thrown out of the EPL and that more than suits them. If they're not expelled it's only a matter of a short time until they resign anyway. There is way way more money to be made in global TV deals and streaming services for this new ESL 'product', money overrides everything here. I wouldn't watch it not just because it's immoral but also it would be as boring as hell. But billions around the world, particularly in China and the far east, will absolutely lap it up. The EPL and EFL are going to have to somehow re-group and restructure after the greedy 6 have gone.

More likely the reason i gave they got shot of him now rather than later as if he won the league cup and then was sacked he could do what antonio conte did and sue spurs for unfair dismissal on top of the shit football on show and jose upsetting players again.

They should still be punished by the FA and EPL and the clubs in the EPL should black list the directors of the 6 for what they wanted to do.

Superleague was a bad idea but the reasons behind it cant be ignored. the business side of football is spiraling out of control and change is needed to resolve it for the better especially when it comes to player salaries, transfer fees and the money agents take. A universal effort from all federations is needed to address the money issue and the control of it before they pipe up with the super league idea which they will including the 6 english teams who dropped out if the money issue isnt resolved.

So the greedy 6 didnt get their way with the European SuperLeague so now they have come up with a smaller version that includes inviting the old firm to join the premiership and cutting the numbers to 18 meaning 4 efl clubs will go out of the football league to facilitate it.

They never learn do they?  Some fans seem ok to this idea without realizing that if you accept this how can you say no to superleague which will be brought up again.

I wouldnt be against the old firm joining the english leagues if they started at the bottom and earnt their place in the premiership like all clubs bar mk dons have done and are trying to do still but im not keen on them just being given a spot in there based on the fact they are sharks in a goldfish bowl.

This idea has been knocking about since the EPL was founded, maybe even before. It was a crap unworkable idea then and it still is. Obviously it would be a direct entry into the EPL at the expense of two English clubs. And if they were ever relegated where would they go? The EPL would need to become a closed shop like the ESL to prevent their relegation.

4 clubs would have to drop out the football league as the prem want to be 18 team strong so the effects going down the leagues will be felt including us if they get their way.
