i hope simon hallett opens his cheque book as we need 3 top defenders and fast or we are going down again. its de ja vu in this league again where we can score goals but cant defend for shit and we still play that donkey canavan each time..

Leaking like a sieve and it isn't good enough,on course to let in about 90 goals and that is pretty near certain relegation form.Interesting to see the other promoted teams record so far.Northampton are only slightly better than Argyle and Swindon quite a bit worse-with the exception of Crewe,it looks like the clubs concerned haven't addressed the step up in quality between the divisions adequately and the board and management at HP will need to rectify in January or a trip to Plainmoor is very much on the cards. Questions will be asked as to whether Mr Hallett would be reluctant [understandably so] to bankroll major surgery and indeed if Lowe is the right man to spend the money if he is.Could be a very interesting next few weeks.

 Restless lol Ten years of shit have left them grateful to have a club. the only thing about argo thats not fourth division is the amount of support still out there.

Get rid of the goals and we face certain relegation, Hallett needs to fund the wages of a couple of solid CCC/Top Lge.1 defenders and shift some deadwood. Lowe hasn't done well with his rackem and stackem signings we need some extra quality and quick.

i do agree with that i dont want it to come to us selling a striker with a bright future earlier than we should do to strengthen the defence. However with that said i really cant see simon funding the signings of two new defenders and in january they are going to cost extra as no team is going to want to sell and who in their right mind is going to offer us money for Canavan or wootton and they arent going to take paycuts to leave us either.

I think if we are lucky we will see one probably another kid from a premiership's reserve team in on loan again which won't be enough.

All this talk of signings? Aren't we under a wage and transfer cap (which we are very near the limit of)?

How do we sign players if you can't offload the ones you want to replace?

Wonder whether selling Jephcott for couple million and paying off the contracts of Canavan, Sawyer and Wooton would open up enough of the wage cap to allow couple experienced L1 centre halves to join
