Yep, sustainability is the word of the month (or year) at HP. The club continues to exist but will bounce around the lower leagues for ever - which is exactly what yer average janner wants - the 'grateful to have a club to support' crew..

Without investment, on the pitch, the club will go nowhere. Thing is if you say that to the Brentophiles they throw their hands in the air saying we can't go into debt look what happened last time. They can't grasp the concept of manageable debt or investment to move the club forward. In the meantime the club meanders along with unbudgeted income which could be invested in the playing side not being seen or heard of again.

The only way those fawning over all things Brent will turn against him is if we were relegated. I'd still fear a considerable number would fall back on the eee saves uzz line though.
