I can understand clubs appealing to their supporters for no pitch invasions, they have to be seen to be doing something to prevent it. It's the over exaggerating that pisses me off, £200k fine? We won't sign a new striker?

I thought the pitch invasion was well handled actually.

Lots of warnings and stewards everywhere - what more could they do?

Then when the moment came the steward in front of where I was sitting opened the gate and just watched everybody stream on. Perfect.

It was what followed that I found disappointing. The lap of honour thing is OK but when the players are surrounded by photographers you can't see them anyway and the effect is somewhat weakened. It'd be much better to get 'em up to the Directors' Box and forget the lap of honour altogether.

Well done DA and the team on finally getting promotion!
