Neil "Tyhee Slim" Jenkins - Funeral details

For those who wish to attend, we've been advised that Neil's funeral will be held at Mansfield Crematorium at 1.15pm on Wednesday 15th April.

It would be helpful to get an idea of likely numbers, for the wake.

I've moved this to the Mayflower board John but also left this thread in here as a copy. More people view that board so should give this maximum exposure.

Neil was laid to rest this afternoon in a wonderful service, well attended and with many excellent stories told and retold about him.

His devotion to Argyle was a key aspect of the service, along with his love of music and all things Italian, with many tributes paid to his fierce intelligence and wit too.

Some of the comments left on Facebook and on this and other forums had been collected together for all to read - these had clearly touched his family deeply and they were grateful for the kind words spoken of Neil.

For those who were unable to attend and who may wish to make a useful contribution in Neil's memory, donations to the John Easton Hospice in Sutton-in-Ashfield would be welcomed.

Thanks John and you looked resplendent on Twitter. I don't think I ever met the man but of course having followed Argyle away for 30 years you nod at many a face. The man was obviously more deeply talented and loved than he ever recognised.

Many on here share his disdain for modern day footballisms but we're not as strong to walk away.
