I have read that Newell finds it outrageous that a man with such offensive views and tastes such as Malky Mackay has found a sympathetic employer willing to overlook his private and personal views (sent  and intended for only one person's eyes), take him down from the cross that the baying mob of the British public crucified him on, and give him another chance in his profession.

As Newell himself said, "if he is racist, why employ him?"

He then goes on to suggest that Dave Whelan buy Millwall with Malky Mackay as manager and Ched Evans up front to form a super-scum club.

Then he opines on another discussion that whilst he finds Frank Harper's views not particularly agreeable, he deserves a fair crack of the whip on the AFT, and behaviour such as asking a potential supporters representative questions on his views, and researching his views, is utterly disgusting and repulsive.

So which is it Newell?

If Harper is allowed his own private views (which he himself airs on newpaper columns, facebook and on forums) which shouldn't interfere with his ability to perform a role, why should Mackay sending a private text to his mate stop him from getting a role?

You're a walking contradiction and genuinely can't see the wood from the trees when you want to manipulate a plan into action (i.e. Frank Harper to become an unworkable nightmare for the AFT). If you disliked the idea of Mackay getting a second chance after his private messages were leaked, surely you would have no time for the idea of a racist homophobe who likes to air his views in public, literally becoming a representative of this club's supporter base? It just shows what an ignorant uneducated fool you are if you want a racist homophobe representing our club, but find the idea of those views at another club disgusting and sickening.

A little bird told me that Nooll had to backpedal like fook after his mystery backers kicked up fook about the trust/jobbiejabber thread went wrong, may be nothing in it but his behaviour has been just bizarre even for him.

Tbf I doubt even Franks skin is thick enough to wanna deal with a very public backlash from people who innocently voted for him prior to him being outed as a racist homophobe.

He might be the Trust's reputation will be tarnished as a result.. there again that was the idea of putting him up for election in the first place.

The Chair of the AFT’s 2014 Election Management Group (EMG) has issued a short statement:

“As EMG chair I would like to inform members that Frank Harper has decided to stand down as a candidate for election to the AFT board. As we conduct a first past the post election the voting will continue with the first 6 out of 7 candidates being deemed successful.

The result will be announced at the Trust AGM being held from 10am at the Players Lounge at Home Park on Saturday 29th November.”

I don't think there should be any celebrating on here. Sufficient that it's a great result for the Trust to go forward with a united (hopefully) front.

The heartening thing for me is that enough people care about the trust/club to make a fuss, does this mean the apathy of the fans is gone, I do hope so.
