Cue the arrival of six armed response vehicles, four vans full of riot police, ten ordinary cars, plain cloths support officers, four fire engines and a few ambulances. Matey was talked down off the roof after smashing through from the loft and sitting on the ridge for an hour or two. If you had rung up the police and said you were being burgled they would have given you a crime number.
