Good to see Sheridan getting his business done early not relying on leftovers. Banton would be an excellent signing even with 50% sell on, he would get a decent price IF he does well and if you have shit players you get 100% of feck all.

Fingers crossed this goes through.

This is exactly the kind of ambition needed to get us moving upwards again.

I have no doubts about his ability but his attitude concerns me, anyway fingers crossed it works well, Sherry knows best..................i've forgotten what it feels like to sign a player on a long term contract.

Maybe you guys will finally stop whining about Brent, Newell, Webb and the Diddy Stand now you are on the up, good form, good new players coming in, you got it fecking made.

I hope so but as i say he has alot of expectation put on his shoulders by some of sycophants given he hasnt played much either and had a rather unsuccessful period at franchise scum fc he will need a bit of time to catch up fitness wise and get back to how he rolls. I just dont want the fanclub to turn into a hatemob.

We have all seen him play, he dribbles, beats players, can drive them in from 30 yards and finish.

As long as he can remember it is a team game and sometimes passes are required, we are onto a winner.

If we can get Lavery on a season long loan I will be seriously optimistic. If we bring in Lee Cox, it's playoffs, minimum.

easier said than done i rather wait and see how he does rather than predict things. We need more than Banton to reach the playoffs.

Excellent news - looks like this season at least we're really going for promotion. This was exactly the signing we needed and the club delivered. Extending Lavery would be great too but that's a bit more out of our control what with his parent club probably still seeing a future for him there.

Let give this a crack if we fail there's always next season to get it right from the start.

Yeah sure the costs would be higher but the income would be higher still.
