Ok, I'm not a mod. I just thought I would try this citizens arrest sort of thingy.

It's kind of lost it's meaning on this thread pepsi.     I don't think anyone should be barred from making comment on anything if they want to whether they attend matches or don't.    It's a bit daft talking about how crap this one is or that one is player wise if you haven't seen them or how rubbish a game is if you weren't there.     Commenting on the politics of the club or PCC is another matter though.    You don't have to attend anything to be able to hold an opinion on those things but it seems it does matter if you are certain people who are lets say not flavour of the moment.    Not my intention to defend XIsle as such just to point out that it is inconsistant to use the non attendance argument just because you don't like a particular poster.    There are a number who don't go to matches who post on here who aren't challenged on attendance.     Hence the singer not the song quote.    I don't think the point being made is that hard to grasp do you?

SG, I'm not getting involved mate. For what it's worth, I think a thread, this thread, of continuous knob measuring should have it's own forum on ATD. I lost it once on here and flounced (there's no shame in that  ). Not again.

Personally, to me, it's entertainment. By me chipping in with infantile remarks was a futile attempt to lighten the mood, taking the p*ss, nothing more, nothing less. My two penneth worth is that the usual 4/5 posters who can't help themselves don't do themselves any justice. In fact, I think you should all set fire to yourselves - with immediate effect.

POI, believe it or not I recognise a piss take when I read it. Funnily enough I don't get offended by genuine piss taking. I actually find some of it quite funny. Piss taking though goes over some people's heads but if it gives them a buzz in thinking their responses are cleverer than the original poster then what the feck, it's served a purpose. I'm here for 2 purposes. One to point out injustice like Batman and the other to present a target for the terminally brain dead. It's a sort of care in the community thing.
