The Cherry Tree Cabal/ Freak Meet #246197

It's that time again - the first Freak Meet/ Gathering of the CTC for the new season. 12.30 onwards in the 'left hand side' of the Cherry Tree on Saturday.

Obviously, as with any meeting of a Sinister Secret Society, there has to be a certain protocol observed. So for anyone hoping to join the CTC, you need to approach me in the bar and utter this season's pass-phrase, which, for every home game this season is: "Hi Andy, can I get you a pint?" To which I will reply "Cheers, I'll have a Doom Bar."

Once this formality is completed, you'll be welcomed as an official member of Tringreen's favourite Sinister Secret Society.

See you in the Cherry Tree pre-match!

What do you all look like?

We're tall, very tall.

Do you wear special things so we'd recognise you?

I imagine most of you to look like this

Sadly I will not be attending the first meet as I am enjoying the very warm sunny weather in Italy.

To which I reply
"cheers I`ll have a Doombar that`s very generous of you Andy"
to which you reply with

I won't be there as I am still on holiday in kent but I hope to make one this season.

So to sum up most are very tall and one is very long.

How terrible, shouldn't you lot be going to the fansfest and putting more money towards the staff fund so that Brent doesn't have to pay more rather than giving your money to a pub chain?

Hairy, if you read through the new rules on here, you will find that when we added stuff about confidentiality we also added stuff about abuse of mods. One more like that and you will be put into permanent exile on pasoti.

They look to have been infiltrated by Avivas seeing the number of Argyle shirts there.

My eyes are nominally open and Im not tall either. We do have a diabetic sub freak meet group too!

Sadly, I will not be able to attend, being otherwise engaged on the golf course. Plus the fact that I am still recovering from playing a round of golf with Greenskin on Thursday.

Again sadly, I don't envisage many visits to HP this year, but if I do relent, am I allowed just to turn up?

I would love a round of golf with your good self and Greenskin one day. I used to have a membership at Staddon Heights many years ago and had the pleasure of a round with ex Argyle winger, Peter Anderson. I believe he still plays.
Not the greatest course but superb views of Plymouth and surrounding areas.

Sadly I'm working/on duty from 0900 Sat to 0900 Sun but if time allows I shall try to pop in for a tomato juice or two and catch up with all the girly gossip.
