Exeter game time changed

ARGYLE'S trip to Exeter City on Saturday, October 26 has been moved forward to a 1pm kick-off at St James Park.

The Pilgrims and Grecians will meet at the earlier time of 1pm for the first Devon Derby of the Sky Bet League Two on October 26, before the return fixture at Home Park on Saturday, March 21.

Yeah, I agree.

The big problem with going to play that lot up the road there is that the police just go over the top.

Argyle fans just get hounded, the police pen Argyle fans in whatever pub they can put them in, they are at Plymouth railway station and Exeter St Davids in numbers, usually checking to see if an individual has a ticket for the match and if at ESD, keeping them there until escorted to the ground. I have known people who were meant to collect a ticket from friends already in Exeter being refused to travel due to the police being unsporting.

I don't bother going up to Exeter now, it is too much overkill by D&C. The way they act you would think the Queen was visiting the city.

Ain't that the truth Village and been the case for years. Most of the trouble they spout about is kids and wannabes mouthing off behind the police cordon, remove the police cordon and most people would mind their manners a bit more. The old bill could sit back and just hit troublemakers if and when it happened rather than adding to the hostile atmosphere.
