Reference Seadog's comments on the England thread regarding Joe Hart, McCormick is a better keeper than Hart. He's a very lucky soul winging it. Probably the worst England keeper in my time. England don't do keepers anymore. Too uncool or energetic for the spotty mine craft generation, probably just looking forward to growing a beard, with a tatt or two to attract the like minded female of the species.

Anyway, looking forward to the Wales game. Saved up my Mbytes. If Ramsey were playing, Wales would be a shoe in, given their spirit. 50/50 now.

It's just a blessed relief that the Taffs look like exiting now.

The Euro's have been quite a strange tournament not just this year but in the past. Whooda predicted Denmark and Greece winning, or Wales getting to the semi's?

Even this Portugal side have looked crap for most of the tournament and yet they'll be 90 minutes away from lifting the trophy soon.

This final sums up the tournament, poor !!!! the expansion to 24 teams mean you have sides without much quality, getting to the semis and the final. All the best side were loaded up onto the same half of the draw and knocked each other out early. If all it takes these days is a well organised set up to do well in these tournaments then England are not too far behind with the right leadership
