Why don't you poach the talented David Wheeler away from Exeter? Chance to play for a big club  would be irresistible to a young player trying to make the big time. Play your cards right and you might even get him for nothing as he's out of contract in the summer.

Oh sorry, you already tried that one didn't you? Oh well, spose you'd better start thinking aboput developing your own talent and cease trying to live off other clubs youth schemes. Cheapskates.

Very Happy

Funny thing is you sell players for over a million (if true about Grimes) and Wheeler? then sign players like Big Clint for free. Is ALL that cash being saved to pay off Chino-man.

Quite a few in our Championship days when getting loanees of a good calibre was commonplace. Doubtful in the fourth tier though.

I really wish the herald would stop reporting on this non event now. They seem to be doing nothing but report on hiram not coming back and is getting stupid..even for them

To be honest Les, I never expected any green reply on Exeweb, I mean, what could you say? Sorry perhaps or you could try and justify your actions. One thing is for certain though it was a victory for the just, something very rare in football these days.

Sorry ffs!.....this is football, dodgy deals are the order of the day. How about sending a few of your young guns our way in exchange for a bit development advice, re. your new grandstand, from our illustrious owner.

With Palace's results of late and under-performing first-teamers, there's a much greater chance of Boateng getting a look in now on a fairly regular basis. Big surprise if he is allowed back here again.

DA said in Tavvy the other night that with more people at Palace returning from injury he hasn't written off a return, still believe it when I see it.

Dereks definitely a glass half full man isn't he?
His optimism has to be admired.

Excuse the unintended pun given Dereks reported sobriety.

but sometimes it can be a tad tedious when the obvious is plain to see. if palace where going to allow hiram to go on loan gain then they would have done that by now or wait till the day the loan window closes.

he really should have had someone else lined up and brought in by now, lets not forget mchugh is only 1 booking away from a 2 game suspension, threlkeld is off on april 9th and simpson is somewhat injury prone.

I have never seen optimism as something to be admired or not. I think Adams has said he doesn't like pessimists, whatever they are.
I think he's being a little naive, waiting for his gal to come back after she hopped back to her hubby.

I'm kind of thinking D A is perhaps being over optimistic in getting Boateng back.
I know nothing about his personal life and don't really care,as it is irrelevant to whether the player returns.

Alan Pardew handed major injury boost with star men set for timely return

YANNICK BOLASIE and Bakary Sako will make their Crystal Palace comebacks in the FA Cup to hand Alan Pardew a timely boost.

You know He's that bloke who was on the bench when the Greeks played York, you remember that game where they lost 2-0 I think to a team that's been in the bottom 3 just about all season, yeah we really want that fecker

Hiram Boateng do not make the bench today with some of the Palace injured player making their way back

Hennessey; Ward, Dann, Delaney (c), Kelly; Zaha, Cabaye, Ledley, Mutch; Wickham, Adebayor.

Subs: McCarthy, Mariappa, Jedinak, Lee, Bolasie, Campbell, Gayle.

IMO we really need a quality mid to give us a bit of a boost. We are slowly eroding our safety net with Accy looking well capable of taking our second place at the moment which leaves the question "who's the better team between us and Oxford?" It will be the biggest failiure in Argyles history to slip into the playoffs and lose now, ee saved us FFS!

Just for Angry

Goals from Randell Williams and Hiram Boateng earned the Eagles’ under-21 side a deserved point at Griffin Park as their recent return to form in the development league continued.
Williams whipped it into the box where Boateng met it with a fierce volley that flew past Jack Bonham to turn the game around.

Also CP  have their early birds season tickets  on sale untill end of month.

Adult prices will again start from £420; seniors, students and young adults starting from £280; children under 18 starting from £190 and under 10s from £95.
