He isn't the problem. I wonder how popular he is at Home Park though, as the powers that be must know who is behind the parody account.

Still backing shez, never under estimate how hard it must be for a proffesional manager and former top player to deal with Jimmy Muppet and all the little bucket rattling muppets that control Argyle at the moment. he's sticking it out and i admire him for that.

Trouble is if Sheridan went what would our top seven or eigth in the league budget run to as a replacement? Wotton, don't say I didn't warn you.

It was interesting to read about Sheridan's halt time comment to his players, " We don't need to score to win the match".

This remark goes some way towards explaining the negative, defensive rubbish masquerading as entertainment that I've endured these last few years.

A bit of research reveals that since we were relegated to the bottom league we have played at home in 83 league matches. We have scored 93 times. That's obviously just over one goal per game. Away from home we're worse. It averages just under one goal a game.

It's pathetic especially when the whole idea of the game is to score goals.

That's it for me. I'd sooner watch a local match at Tothill.

I see on Pasoti as predicted the polls results are polar opposites to those on here albeit by nefarious methods no doubt.
Vast majority wanting Brent to stay and Sheridan to go in the land of the jester hat, complete opposite on here.
Thank god the astute can see the problems run far deeper then the management.

If nool and the pasoti pointy heads get their way we will end up with the village option of wotten  as manager! Still as the Brent inspired slump goes on, falling crowds will probably force Jimmy out as who in their right mind is going to pay twenty quid plus to watch Argyle losing to the Basement Bums on a regular basis.

Don't we still have the best defence of the 92? When was the last time an Argyle team could say that at the end of January?

Support the manager till the end of the season. Its not the time to change with the transfer window closing soon.

His contract will be up anyway soon.
Another season over before we hit February..it's all so depressing, uninspiring and monotone.

He has another year to go. however i believe if we dont go up or make the playoffs at the very least he will be off one way or another along with Nelson and Reid.

There are a lot of idiots about at HP....................... all angling for a piece of the action, no matter how base the club has become.

Best defence of the 92 based on defending basement division attacks and not scoring many ourselves ? laugh

I voted for him to go.

He stated before the season began that promotion was the goal come May, that is looking distant now.

The problem with him going is that his replacement would be appointed at a time when the Chairmans business empire is crashing down around him. Any budget for a new gaffer would be seriously bargain basement. We're going through a rough patch at the minute, but turning it around ain't an impossible task, especially if the two Reids can hit form again. jocolor
