Well I'm jiggered.

Particularly liked "He is listed as amongst the Top 5% of most influential users of Twitter", which is one of those claims that sounds impressive until you consider what it actually means. Presumably if you take all twitter accounts, include those of people who have used it once and left, and all the "zombie" accounts, Chris Webb's number of followers is in the top 5%. The same could be probably said for a lot of people.

Was always told in business, when you start smoking yer own shite - you've hit the top and it's downhill all the way!! This last 3 years and some of the characters involved has been nothing more than a farce - jeeze, when will it end!!  

This Webb business. Surely there is not enough money in what Webb is trying to go down.  Who is seriously going to try and use him to motivate their workforce? Or look him up when the shit hits the fan at their football club? For every Chris Webb at pafc, there's an equivalent at Hereford, Portsmouth and the next club in trouble. The AFT never sought a professional troubleshooter for our admin problems and I doubt neither will any other club.

To pack his job in to pursue this freelance work seems absolutely barmy to me.

As an aside, didn't he claim he was going to resign his president post over the whole Wrathall thing? That was some inspirational communication - whatever happened with that resignation? Is that the sort of 'communication' Webb deals in? Empty promises?

That communication was designed to convince the masses he represents them. As long as people believe it, it did the trick!

His AWOL policy in response to the concerns over HHP told you more about where his priorities lie in representing Argyle fans. Champagne socialist methinks!!
