Who exactly is providing the money for the £50m development? Doubtless it's been in the public domain before but i've forgotten.Would seem to be a very long pay back period from ice rinks and hotels on an investment of that scale.

Point i'm trying to make is that many of the defenders of the new stand proposals are implying that the £50m is coming solely from Mr Brents own pocket or at least the pocket of his companies. Now that is one hell of an investment for companies which seems to specialise in surf clothing and doing up hotels to make-has there been any indication that PCC or other companies are part funding this?

I'm sure there will be an as yet unnamed"development partner" brought on board in the form of the construction company and probably those companies who will take over the franchises. I imagine Akkeron will be raising finance on their own account as necessary. There's been talk of PCC contributing, but someone will have to point me in the direction of that "fact".

I read that (it may have been a Herald piece from 2012 feb.) which stated that Brent would receive £10m Fromm PCC for the grandstand and £20m for other projects. Whether this is a government development fund or European I don't know, this would be fifty percent grant that would have to match funded by the private sector.
