Was going thorugh my programme collection at the weekend & was sorting the 1990-91 seasons into correct order (saddo).

Brought back memories of Andy Thomas who scored quite a few goals early on that season then had to retire through injury.
Thin k he scored twice in his last game v Hull 4-1 home win.
What a blow that was - the only player scoring goals too at that point.
Seem to recall he'd missed a couple of penalties at the start of that season - vaguely remember Dave Kemp even being critical of him min the media at the time...............

Decent player who was not replaced until Steve Castle arrived in 1992, no wonder we struggled.

I can't tell you my source but I have it on good authority that he is Fletchs' wish list for January.
