Played yesterday for Zimbabwe in their 3 - 1 win over Angola in a playoff to reach the African cup of nations. The second leg (in angola) is on Oct 12th so Bas is likely to miss Aldershot (H) in the JPT and the away match to Barnet (Oct 13). The African Cup of nations starts 19th Jan 2013 and finishes on 10 Feb 2013.

He's too good for League 2 in my opinion, but would love him to stay

He's certainly a valuable asset for us whether playing or selling on.

If that were the case, why is Bas still an Argyle player?

Because he didn't look that brilliant towards the end of last season, he is better going forwards, as he was last year then he got kept back more.

When Baz first signed for us he looked every bit a Championship standard player. I don't know if injury or having ever-increasingly crap players around him effected his long-term form, but hopefully he's back to his best, because at his best he is way above League 2.
