Larrieu: We're ready to strengthen

Ro talks about contract talks with the six (not including Damien Johnson) out of contract players, and the search for new talent (in the Herald). It would seem (with fletcher's words earlier in the week about Brent) that the management team will be retained for next season?

With fletcher and larrieu in charge i predict a steady eighteenth next season.

I think we will be at least 8 places higher than that, but if we are to mount any sort of play off/promotion challenge I would only keep Berry and possibly Williams out of those 6.

I'd absolutely keep Berry, snap him up very quickly - he looked better and better. I'd maybe keep Williams.

The others are more debatable. Lennox might be worth a go - he's young and may come on. Feeney might be worth a go - an experienced pro who may have more to offer in a more attacking set-up. Both of those may have something to offer as subs.

There are so many unknowns that where we will end up is totally unpredictable.

I,d give the boy Lennox another season to see what he can do tbh, looked useful in most of his substitute appearances and wont be on massive money, possibly Williams and Berry, but only on a reduced wage, the rest can take a hike as far as im concerned.

There are also quite a few knowns as well for next season,We know for instance that Simon Walton,Paul Wotton,Connor Hourihane and Ladji Soukouna will be here battling for central midfield positions,so no changes there.Strikers is what the team needs and good ones at that.
