Decent player according to my old man, can't personally remember him as I didn't start going until 73 as a nipper.

Another early hero passes.Best memory of Bicks was scoring one of the goals at Millwall which led to a near riot after ending their run of 59 unbeaten home games. Very good scoring record for Argyle and i think we would have stayed up in 1968 if he had been fit for the whole season, he eventually went to Gillingham where i believe his career was ended by injury.

RIP King Bickle

My first Argyle hero. Scored 4 against Torquay on a Boxing Day in the 70’s (Norman Piper got the other two if I remember rightly).
Mike returned to Plymouth after having to give up the game through injury, I believe he became a milkman.
Used to see him on the Barbican occasionally on a Saturday night in later years, absolute gentleman.

RIP Mike Thanks for the memories.
