| Obvious he was never going to sign. The rest of the Championship can raid Argo at will for easy pickings. We'll never be a Championship club under Hallett. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] if they offer him more money a week then of course hes going to go to one of them as would anyone else they can offer more due to their resources and pulling power than we can even if we offered ennis more than he is on now plus this is another reason why you want to tie up contracts like ennis earlier in the season and not leave it till now as he will leave for nowt which is a blow to the club, and your last sentence is very oxymoronic as we are a championship club under hallett. |

We're a skint L1 club on loan to the Championship for a season. |

Big shame but i got the vibe he was off sadly, i cant deny him a big move to a play off contender and Blackburn can offer him far more money and perks too so all the best niall and thankyou. I am positive the prophet of doom will be claiming everyone will be off now as a result of this but we are linked with a few strikers according the rumour mill so im positive the club where expecting this news. We move on. We get no money for Ennis signing for Blackburn which is exactly why its not a good idea to let key players run their deals down if they dont want to stay ala camara. get the money and move on if they dont want to stay. Its not ambitious to loose out on money hoping to change their minds and stay and thank god that wasnt the case with camara. lets hope Scarr and Houghton sign up again really fussed at all if Wilson doesnt. |

| So that's Mumba, Ennis, Whittaker, Azaz, Cosgrove, Matete all playing for different Championship sides against us next season. Can't wait |

4 year deal with a (player) option of a 5th! |

| This is what happens when you have by far the smallest budget in the division. This is completely on Simon Property Not Players Hallett. Any bets when we'll be relegated? My guess is March 24 |

we would never offer a player with his track record with picking up injuries despite his talent a 4 year deal with a player option of a 5th we arent a club with resources and backing to afford a gamble like that atm. Ennis would have been a fool to turn down that offer in his position its a great offer he should do well for Blackburn but i feel he will still be picking up injuries and having spells out of the team as a result so whether he stays there for 5 or more years only time will tell. |

| Would have liked him to have stayed as the ball seemed to stick to him better than Hardie, however he does seem prone to injury, only 23 games last season |

| Ennis was our best striker. A real match winner. He could create something from nothing. We needed him next season. But Hallett has other priorities. |

As was the case with Mumba and Mayor. Three creative/flair players gone and not many of the same type left, Wright would be the only one of that ilk remaining although Randell is a creative passer. They'll take some replacing, let's hope the data analysis and budget prove to be up to the task. |

Seriously concerned the squad for 23/24 won't even be as good as we had for 22/23. |

| Go back a few months and there was consternation about Camara leaving.
We (well nearly everyone) got over that. And we will get over Ennis leaving |

We (well nearly everyone) got over that. And we will get over Ennis leaving there was and as you say some couldn't accept it but with me im always of the opinion no one is bigger than the club and if a player doesnt want to be here thankyou feck you goodbye is what i say to them and move on thankfully we got a good price for an injury crock pity we didnt do the same with Ennis in hindsight. I Find it strange that fans expect the same loyalty they show their club from players or managers when in truth they come and go as do owners the only constant part of any football club that will be there for life is the fans. |
