Others have said it but a resounding thumping for Cambridge would settle the nerves somewhat.

Well it deffo won't be a case of bottom of the table coming to top of the table and getting walloped like what used to happen more back the good old days.   It will be a case of bottom of the table playing like top of the table and vice-versa.  Cambridge will come at us hard and fast from the off and are certain to score first, probably helped by poor Argo defending again.  Going to be a very long afternoon.

Job done, thoroughly deserved and not a bad performance considering the pressure on the team. Roll on Tuesday against a dogshite but awkward opponent. One step at a time Argyle and in 7 days we could be a championship club again.

A less nerve-shredding game than recently, thought we played well and deserved the win. Good to have Randall back again the midfield seemed more solid with him there.

Good atmosphere today!  Thought Argo played well and we even had periods where we actually looked comfortable even after Cambridge got their inevitable goal. Argo looked better after the break and it was clear there was only going to be one winner. Although thought Cambridge actually finished the stronger and played quite well particularly in the 7 minutes of added time when it was all too late but if it wasn't for their atrocious finishing there could a very tense end to the game.

We simply have to win on Tuesday or this is going to the last game of the season.  Sheff Wed are not going to drop points V Shrewsbury on Saturday.

good win for us 3 games left we could be promoted and could even be crowned champions this time next week if ipswich fail to win their game in hand and we win both of our games next week.

first half was a frustrating one, we piled on the pressure but Hardie was an absoulte donkey today, van dyke wannabe was a absoulte donkey kept giving the ball away. Callum Wright took his goal well and was good today very lively he has improved alot since he came here when he couldnt even pass a ball like van dyke wannabe.

Cambridge's goal was very soft and again came from a counter attack their player sam smith celebrated like he had a grudge against us for telling him he was shit once. Bigger cbnt than the gender fluid pervert singer sam smith.

Hardie coming off was a blessing as we actually played better as Ennis was more up for the task especially with his goal as he has pace. Edwards knew better than to pass to hardie and took the shoot himself to score which was smart as even from the distance ryan was he would have screwed that up.

overall great win we needed it, thought the atmosphere was crap at times when we werent winning and Jesus wept blocks 3-4 and 17 get in sync ffs with your chants you only have 5 chants your use over and over again its not hard to join in with one rather than start it up a fresh causing a delay lol

that ryan lowe song needs to be retired or reworked as hes been gone over a yeasr and a bit lets move on

Really good atmos at the start today and also a good start to the game by Argyle with Mayor and Randell [who has a much missed ability to put his foot on the ball in the midfield melee and see a pass] pulling the strings culminating in a nice move which saw Wright finish calmly after being set up by Hardie. Strangely Argyle seemed to drop off the pace and Cambridge got a headed equaliser out of the blue and the rest of the half rather meandered to a close. Different story second half and Joe Edwards showed just how valuable he is to Argyle with his determination and will to win enabling him to poke the ball home and ease the inevitable tensions. Ennis came on and put the finishing touch to a flowing move down the left hand side, didn't like the way he went down later on though-hopefully nothing serious because he's another one who has been badly missed. Argyle had other chances to really put the seal on it but Cambridge did improve after bringing on a bevy of subs, Burton made a decent save in a one on one situation but it was Argyle's day and one step further on the road.

Looked like Gary's gormless gimps might do us a favour at one stage but they obviously thought that 6 points was a generous enough contribution. The pace is still red hot [in the Sturrock/Bobby promotion season Argyle had the title wrapped up after 44 games with 84 points] but still very much in our hands-onto Tuesday against the gas no doubt with the heat cranked up by Barton, got a feeling it could be feisty and hope there's a strong ref.
