| Who scored? That useless piece of deadwood Ben Purrington should have had a bet on it ffs. Anybody that advocated selling him is an idiot. |

| My mate is there he said two things happened for the goal first the defence didn't clear a corner then a young lad screamed " my dad's right about you, you feckin ******!" causing Coops to look round just as Purrington lashed it.

| Argo were utter dogshit today. Probably the start of an extended losing run. Season over. |

| The run was never going to last forever. And the occasional lose might deter Utd from luring Ryan to Old Trafford!
Still sitting pretty in the table.

| Exeter have the best run in all leagues after a two nil win today, luckily hey are more likely to implode Han we are. Also Argyle reject Freddie Ladapo scored for Rovrum. |

| Usual negative takes I see on ending a seventeen game unbeaten run, as I commented pre match, if Argo, have an off day after a good win, it will be a tough game. Strangely enough, players are not robots. From the commentary sounds like Cooper pulled off some excellent saves, and Mayor did well as a later sub. No need to be negative at this stage after one loss, given Charlton played so well. |

| Not at our best today by any means, although we were never really troubled in the first half, and had a couple of good chances ourselves, just lacked the final ball. Defence stood up well to lot of crosses, but we never really got out and controlled the game apart from a 10 minute spell at the end of the first half.
Second half was pretty even until their centre back went off and suddenly we found a lot more space and looked the more likely to score. Then we switch off from a corner leave Purrington free at the back post 10 yards out who blasted in. It went under Cooper who possibly could have done better but it was hit like a rocket. That woke Charlton up and Cooper had to make 3 other top saves to keep us in it.
We went for the equalizer, but were caught on the break by a long ball, and it was 2 - 0. Apart from one Grant cross that went begging through the six yard area we didn't create much after that. No standouts today, apart from Scarr and Wilson, not Camara's best game, Hardie was ok, surprised he got taken off, Garrick was average at best.
Disappointing day but it had to come eventually, Wycombe and Wigan coming up, 6 points from those and today will be forgotten. |
