Ryan Lowe hopes to have at least one new addition to his Plymouth Argyle squad before their League One game against Gillingham at Home Park on Saturday.

The Pilgrims' boss saw his side beat Peterborough United 4-0 at the Weston Homes Stadium in the Carabao Cup first round last night.

But for much of the day Lowe had spent his time trying to push through a deal or two to add more strength in depth to his squad, with a new striker the top priority.
