Pitch-Side Dining at Home Park Empty
PostSubject: Pitch-Side Dining at Home Park   Pitch-Side Dining at Home Park EmptyMon Jul 06, 2020 1:36 pm

With COVID-19 restrictions easing, we are excited to announce the launch of the Pilgrims’ pitch-side restaurant at Home Park.

Home Park Stadium is hosting an al fresco dining night on Friday, July 31 - offering customers the opportunity to enjoy a two-course meal in the open air at the Theatre of Greens, with ambient music and stadium lighting providing a truly unique dining experience, for £35 per person.

In-line with present government guidelines, bookings can be taken for groups of up to six people, with menu selections available on a pre-order basis, and seating times staggered in 15-minute increments to ensure the health and wellbeing of staff and customers alike.

If bad weather forces cancellation of the event, it will be moved, in the first instance, to Friday, August 6.

Booking opportunities for this exclusive dining event are extremely limited, so please call 01752 302206 or email [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] at your earliest convenience to avoid disappointment.

The dinner menu options, as well as a full list of terms and conditions, can be found below:

Ginger and Pear Crumble Pie sounds nice but the rest of the menu doesnt excite me,,, wheres the egg and chips option :O

two locally farmed organic and free range eggs, served with slices of yorkshire ham and maris piper potato (grown in cornwall) chips cooked three ways. condiments of ketchup or hp sauce are available. optional bread roll can be requested.

Doesn't look to be aimed at the traditional football fan.

Perhaps the plan is an "Al fresco Dining experience" with 22 lads kicking a ball about as the cabaret, to avoid the "no fans" rules

This seems a very odd one. They are going to have tables literally pitchside?

They would have to get very very lucky with the weather for that to be a goer. It may well be dry but it could be bleddy cold with any type of breeze.

I think the only people happy to pay £35 (well over the odds) for two courses are the same saps that happily part with the best part of a grand to go on a pre-season official trip. I'll pass.

thinking about it they lost 3 big concerts this summer that got cancelled for the coronavirus so they have to make some of that money back i guess.... not sure how much lamb rump costs more than a leg im sure to make it a worthwhile experience to be honest.

I agree with Czarks, I was thinking they could have it inside if weather was bad but then social distancing is a mare. It just seems a bit wierd sitting pitch side to eat a meal.

Seems a rather strange set up to say the least. Spaced out on the touchline with the wind quite possibly blowing. Only the dedicated I suspect will pay out that sort of money.
