Why shouldn't the French boats play by the rules and why the fook should we cave in to bunch of garlic munchers in thirty foot boats?

Jersey should cancel the all the licenses to fish in their waters if the french fishermen carry on. And if they turn off the power then the UK should cancel all french licenses to fish in our waters.

I have absolutely no doubt we'll capitulate and let the French do what they want for fear of offending or upsetting anyone - which of course, is very un-British.

The BEEB nailed their colours firmly to the French mast over the Jersey fishing row. It was the Jersey leaders who actually refused the French the new licences and it's their job to manage their own fish stocks yet it's portrayed as a Bojo move. Also you can expect much more of this going on now as we no longer take anything the French do to us lying down. The shellfish ban recently was a direct punitive measure and I'm glad we are fighting back.
The reason that many French boats have been unable to get licences is because they can't prove that they have fished these waters for ten days in the last year, no one seems to care that some of our fishermen have been unable to fish their home waters at all whilst French boats target their fish, Newlyn boats have been limited to five tonnes of fish whilst the French can fish alongside and catch ten tonnes, this has been a long time coming.
