When was the last time Plymouth had a decent Sunday league? Seems to have completely died out, recently played for Foxhole vets, Grampound and currently Royal Par.
At least in Cornwall there is still a recognised sunday league, but how on earth in Plymouth is there no recognised football structure on Sundays?

Sunday league has been dying a death for ages particularly in urban areas where Councils hit by Govt funding cuts have inflicted massive hikes in pitch fees. Then there's the steady loss of green fields to developers eager to pile more student accommodation on the population. All this is compounded by the increasing ball ache of administration, lack of qualified refs. I guess it thrives in Cornwall because there isn't much else of a high standard.

Not sure where you're getting your info from Punchy. Plymouth and West Devon Sunday League has 2 divisions with 25 teams. Bloke in work plays. Same on a Saturday, 2 divisions.
Admittedly a lot different to years gone by, when you had 2 different leagues. I played Plymouth Sunday League team was sponsored by Harves company of the time. Probably the last time got any money out of him!!!
