| Again - not Argo related, and I must apologise. However, I have just come across this picture, apparently from 1885 over looking Tin side, the Sound and Drake's Island. There's something very strange about this picture.  |

| That's where the lido is now isn't it'? I know that area very well I've fished along every inch of it and I don't recall those rocks. Actually on second thoughts is it the old groin exchange or Corinthians Yacht Club? |

As kids we used to climb over the wall up by the entrance to the yacht club then walk along a pipe adjacent to the wall then climb down onto rocks to fish on the outcrop by the yacht clubs little harbour there. Those rock outcrops don't look familiar, although looking at the pic in relation to Drakes Island, it has to be in that area. Quite odd. |
