Without betraying any confidences, I think it only fair and right I should explain what I think happened - I might not have all the facts straight, but these are the salient points:

On the 'Truce' thread (which I have locked until the dust settles) Rickler posted up something (now removed by us mods) that GOB took offence to. Somehow penzancepirate got involved too. This all happened between 1am and 3am this morning. GOB decided he'd had enough and has deleted his account. Whether he will be back, we don't know. He is of course very welcome. pp was effectively left trying to deal with a nuclear storm between GOB and Rickler and it looks as though he took the decision to close down ATD. We have spent this morning putting it back together as best we can - Considering that at 0800 this morning your entire moderating team was Tringy, Pepsipete, Frank, Nick and me. Or at least that was us with access to the site admin. We have fiddled and tweaked and got the site back up as best we can. I thought it vitally important that ATD was back up as soon as possible. We now have Any Symons and Peggy on board as mods for the time being, if they want to stay as mods, that's fine by me, but we feel now we have sufficient cover.

In order for the mods to have as easy a time of it as possible for the moment, could our loyal members please refrain from starting anything too controversial if at all possible please?

There, I think that covers pretty much everything, if anyone has any concerns, or if anything is not working as it should, just contact us mods!

Looks like there are issues with some threads, can't access the mundane, word game or prediction threads

I believe ha has stood down and is re registering as 'Penz'.

Few issues after the reboot with regards to viewing threads. I'm looking into it but right up against it at work for a couple of hours so your patience would be appreciated! Normal service will be resumed asap.

Seems Ok on my laptop now Nick. Couldn't access them on my phone earlier, but that's Ok as well now.

I cancelled it and logged on as normal.

Someone wants to stir it up again already wouldn't use pasoti anymore if you paid me. Still use not606 occasionally, very friendly little site, with the exception of that well known troublemaker sensiblegreen, who has been abusing Gillingham fans lately lol

I see IJN is now a mod on pasoti again.....that absense lasted long

Thanks to the remaining mods for saving this site and I hope to see GOB back on here sometime in the future

If you want to discuss the footballing side of Plymouth Argyle, pasoti is the place. If you want to stalk Ian Newells twitter posts, discuss what colour pants Chris Webb is wearing today, and generally slag off James Brent, Carl Fletcher and the team then here's the place!!!

The choice is totally yours, of course.
