As frankly embarrassing as it is to be only two points and one place better off than such non-league-elect offal as yourselves any time after Bonfire Night, there is little need for alarm.

We are merely having our usual some-point-in-the-season fart-up. It happens every year, even if the timing varies a bit. We'll wallow around for a game or two more, then give someone near the top a wallop when its least expected and be back on our merry way for the rest of the season.

Then, when your fantastic run of 5 games without taking a hiding comes to an end, you can return to bemoaning your lego shoebox and looking up the A38 enviously while holding onto hollow past glories.

Still in the same division as them. If the club was run properly we should be two divisions above Exeter.

But don't forget in January we lose half our team as loan signings return to their clubs. I tink Exeter will finish well above us. I just hope Torquay don't.

We need to keep the momentum going now, as Freathy says relying on loanees isn't good, however if we are winning some decent games and morale in the team is high then clubs will be more likely to let us keep a young player, get into the playoffs and youngsters will want to play here.

How long before Luke Young is spotted and taken away for a Plymouth price ?

Now that is something that I was hoping would happen to make people wake up about Brent and his motives, can you imaging selling a starlet for say £4m then have every penny dissappearing into BJs loans/pension pot whilst still struggling against the likes of Accy Stanley? That would be popcorn time.

Even if we had a player that was worth £4m we'd never get that. History shows that we'd allow ourselves to be shafted and sell for about £400k with no sell-on clauses.

Lets get to xmas shall we, still think it's a bit early to get bragging rights yet besides let's just concentrate on our own game, don't think most of us will be giving Exeter shitty too much thought. Lets just try and get ou of this league! despite the reluctant bidders influence.

Sorry which loan signings are we dependent upon? That will be returning in January?

I think keeping Obedayi is important to us. He gets us up the pitch. Luckily it seems Bury don't seem to rate him so let's hope their new manager doesn't alter that policy.

You are right that the table wont lie .... not now though, after 46 games.

Win tonight at the Torquay and we will be looking at who is above us in the table rather than who is below us.
We haven't been able to do that in a very long long time.

I made some accurate posting before our league match, we won, I posted a couple more astute messages afterwards and left politely!

We are going through a bad patch and it is entirely possible now that Argyle may move above us after we have been above you sorry shower since day 1 of the season. If we are not worth bothering about then I might suggest that this thread is somewhat of a misconstrued over reaction.
