Dane, I don't disagree with everyone because you stated at the start of the thread that people were blaming Sheridan and it is all of those I pretty much agree with. It's you I don't it seems. You asked why people are calling for his head and I gave you an answer. You don't like the answer so it's just me being petty and argumentative. That kind of response is catching on here. If you don't want an argument with anyone then start your own website and only allow yourself to be a member. Somehow the statement "yourself to be a member" seems quite appropriate in your case.

Yes I can Dane.

Played in local teams and was semi pro for a short time until injury stopped me.

Looked after a local kids team for a couple of years then became manager of a team in the area.

Did it for 15 seasons.

Manager of 6 teams.

4 promotions as Champions.
2 promotions as runners up.
2 as winners of local cup.
Went 22 games (over 2 seasons) unbeaten.
Never in a relegation scrap.
Never sacked as Manager.

The pennisular league is a tough school, especially for a young manager learning his trade.

A lot of being a manager is about who you know. Unfortunately the pennisular league is all about how big your playing budget is.

The trouble we had at one club was we didn't have much money compared with others. Some were rolling in it. We relied on, what Damon posted earlier on another thread, unity of the club and also strong arm tactics! I once had a player sent off before the game started for punching one of theirs in the face! It's difficult to build a close knit unit in a league where the big boys just buy your better players as soon as they show promise. It takes time. To climb the ladder

I was lucky at that club because I went to school with a few of them and we had success as schoolboys.

Christ on a bike, I suspect the only other question is do you think you could work with Neil Warnock?
