That's a thought that I had and posted on here a while ago.

That's what Jon Back suggested when he used to chat and pretend he would do something about the corrupt fuckers sucking the life out of Argyle, that Webb had been involved in some of the online shit and now he regretted being involved and wouldn't anymore due to his position at the club.

Personally judging by his behaviour towards Peggy and the ease in which he threw his socialist ideals out of the window once Brent dangled the presidents role in front of him that he's probably even more involved now.

No chance.  His every post surrounding his late father was calculated to curry whatever flavour at that time, plus he has had plenty of time to reflect, nothing has changed.  We all know it deep down!

Let's not forget this is the same man who brought his child into the Guildhall to make a speech.

Jameson told me that he was sorry for the part that he had played in the Deep throat shenanigans.

The problem that I have with these apologist is that I do not believe that they are sorry for what they have done, they are just sorry that they have been caught. That said, at least Jameson has some regret even if it isn't legit, on-the-other-hand, Webb hopes we will forget all about it if he shuts up for a while, he is very, very wrong!

A lot of what has gone on will one day bite these people on the ass, especially those with ambitions of being public figureheads and that's what they are afraid of!

Quite a few of them have had there Chappaquiddick moments. Oh well.

If Webb, Jameson, Postey and the others ever try to change direction or fall out with Newell they probably have a secret dossier ready prepared to be aired which will make their lives extremely uncomfortable. A bit like when porky used one of his sheep to reveal the story about the Pasoti mod posting from the recently deceased bex's account.

I would put money on Mark Pedlar also being threatened that's why he all of a sudden stopped posting on here and revealing little titbits about the Pasoti modroom.

Webb put himself forward as a 'spokesman' for the fans.  From day one the majority were against the development plans.  The numbers for and against only closed nearer to eachother when carefully worded polls went up or scum like local journalists (sic) or supportive 'bigwigs' stepped up.  Webb was complicit all the way through, no out for him, EVER!

He's keeping a low profile to ensure that when the first axe falls it slices Lardarses neck rather than his own.
Sometimes people dont see the obvious. Brent is a multi millionaire many times over and would never mix with the likes of Newell Webb and the other hangers on unless absolutely required.
The Development has been okayed and I'd expect both to be red carded before Christmas. Brent MUST read social interaction between Argyle Supporters and must cringe when he reads about Newell and the rest of the Invalid five.

 

Newell must be feeling mugged by now, there are odd little comments popping up here and there about the road, he's not happy with the size of stand but he is still a Brent supporter for the reason that he has gone so far down the road there is no room to manoeuvre and turn full circle just yet. I expect that Brent knows that if Porky feels totally let down or shut out then he has an awful lot of beans to spill, I can't wait for that day.

There was a regular Pasoti poster called Bex who passed away. In the MOD room one or more MODs reactivated the account, primarily to show some security flaw where unused accounts could be reactivated. They posted something (MOD room only) along the lines of "I'm back to haunt you", which is is pretty bad taste, but was only limited to the MOD room.

Much later the incident was 'outed' on Pasoti, perhaps at a time when it would have been convenient to have certain people removed from the MOD room?

Yeah I remember Bex posting on there and used to see her at games lugging an oxygen tank around (I assume it was her).

Bad taste indeed. It can't be long till the shit hits the fan on that site. Nooly etc will be fighting amongst themselves soon enough, trying to shift the blame onto someone else (here probably).

I was told (straight from the Pigs mouth), that the mods on Pasoti discovered there was a tool that allowed them to make a post but change the author. When they discovered this a few of them were playing with it in the mod room but Ottawa Green/Millbridge Mike posted something tasteless using Bex’s account. His post was immediately condemned by those who saw it. However, this was a number of years ago and the story only came out recently just after Newell fell out with Ottawa Green. A cynic would suggest that Newell leaked the story deliberately.
 
Newell flatly denied to me that he had ever used the tool to change the author of posts. However, on his Flickr account there was a post made by him using my name to slate Tring and Rickler. I have posted a copy of it here before - I think there is a thread about the whole affair in Block 17.

Is there anywhere you guys on here can go on a recruitment drive for new members? I found this place because it was banned on Pasoti and I (as you all did) had had enough of the 'independent' fans forum seemingly having it's own agenda.

There must be a few on there who don't like whats going on and have no idea an alternate forum for like minded people exists?

Wasn't it Rapson who leaked the story on Pasoti? Then tried making out it didn't come from porky?

Newell doesn't care who he pisses off and one day the shit will hit the fan when he falls out with Brent/Webb or a n other Pasoti mod.

The thing is, there is no agenda to recruit or anything else, we're just a bunch of fans, part time fans, just interested fans etc. that have opinions that cannot be expressed on pasoti. We're all individuals with individual opinion, we just happen to agree about the way the Club is being run, newell, webb etc. We even have Exeter and Torquay fans on here and we all get on pretty well within the realms of banter.

I think most now consider pasoti as the official, unofficial site and it is suffering because of it. I can see a new game starting soon where newell pretends to have handed over pasoti to a group of make believe fans or something in the hope of getting regular user numbers up. Who cares.
