He took his time but I thought he did well

He's out of contract at the end of the season, we may as well have him on a year loan as it's essentially a year long contract in which we pay him less than we would have. It's just being resourceful.

Good news imo- as long as we use him to his best.

He needs a full pre-season to get fitter as he did look to be carrying some weight when he first joined us last season (although his leg injury probably didn't help). He is certainly better than Chadwick/ Feeney (although that is no compliment) and can hold the ball up like Trigger used to- as Dougie suggests he needs players to play off him.

He could only be recalled within transfer windows ie, before the end of August or in January.

Unlike with the short-term Banton loan, they wouldn't be able to recall him whenever they please.

At this rate we may just scrape together the same team that finished nearly bottom of L2 minus the good players that saved us from actually finishing bottom.  Way to go brent.
