Just about to start the Australian Open semi-final.

I was surprised to see that Andy Murray is a big favourite to win with Paddy Power, you can get 11/8 on Federer to win, with a money back if the match goes to a 5th set bonus.

I thought it was going to be around the same price for both players. Federer at 31, playing his 10th Aussie Open semi-final in a row and still winning grand slams against Murray who has raised his game a notch, runner up at Wimbledon before winning gold at the Olympics and then the big one, the first grand slam at the US Open.

Games between these two are usually classics and Murray is slightly ahead in past meetings but never in a grand slam.

Murray has looked invincible so far in the tournament but you have to wonder who he has beaten up to now, and is he ready for the ultimate test after not being extended up until now.

Also just the small matter of Novak Djokovic awaiting the winner Very Happy

Terrific game with Murray playing far more convincingly than the 5 sets suggests.

Should be a cracking final on Sunday - Djokovic will be the fav but Murray has the big mo.

My fault, apparently he was playing well until I got out of bed.

He was in control of the first two sets and somehow Djokovic won the second and then cranked up his game.

He's just incredible and you have to take advantage when he's not on top form, unfortunately Murray didn't.

I reckon we should give Murray some sort of honorary ATD presidentship.

What a miserable Cnut he is. He'd fit in well here. What a Face
